This year, our primary ballot for School Committee looks something like this - eight names with us in the last position:
We have the pleasure of running alongside six endorsed Democrats who share our values: to ensure a quality education in quality facilities, for every student, right here in our city. If elected, the seven of us will dedicate our time to serve all Pawtucket students, teachers, parents, and stakeholders as your School Committee.
We'll be able to do the most for Pawtucket Schools if the seven candidates committed to our students are elected. We will work to see capital improvements advance and expand. We will ensure every student has the opportunity to learn in comfort in a modern facility, and that every educator has the resources they need to be innovative, creative, and sensitive to issues of diversity and equity.
If you agree Pawtucket students deserve a quality education in quality buildings, please consider the first six names, followed by the last name on the ballot, on Primary Day, this Wed. September, 12th.
Voters are to choose any seven of the eight candidates on the ballot. This Primary Day, we urge you to mark the first six names along with our own. We urge everyone to share this message, as our ballot position can often cause confusion.
We urge you to inform your fellow citizens, so we may all enter the ballot box confident and ready to do our civic duty. We hope you’ll stand with us on Primary Day, and vote for Roberto H. Moreno for Pawtucket School Committee on September 12th!
